Chocolate and Banana Smoothie


This smoothie will satisfy all your chocolate needs and its healthy. Its super easy just 4 ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.

Bananas are full of potassium and so makes an ideal energy boost they are also rich in phosphorus and magnesium. Yogurt provides probiotics, calcium and protein. Cinnamon helps to regulate blood sugar and adds a lovely flavour to the smoothie.

Now for the chocolate part I am using REGULAR COCO POWDER. I do not use 'raw cocoa powder' because the actual nutritional difference between raw cocoa and regular coco powder is so minimal it doesn’t warrant the hefty price tag. raw cocoa is one of those products that has been heavily health washed but actually (scientifically) has no significant health benefits. I’d rather spend my money on clothes than pompous ingredients, so i always use plane old coco powder.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup of yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 table spoon of coco powder

Method

Slice the banana into chunks and add to the blender with all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth, serve and enjoy.
