Green Smoothie Popsicle


These popsicles are a great treat to ave when the weather is hot, refreshing, delicious and easy to make.

  • Ginger is full of zinc and selemium its also great for boosting the immune system.

  • Spinach is full of iron, beta carotene and calcium, it can help to lower blood pressure and helps to detox the body.

  • Grapes provide potassium, vitamin c and add some natural sweetness to this recipe.

  • Bananas are high in potassium, folic acid, Vit C, calcium and magnesium.

  • Yogurt is full of protein and probiotics

Ingredients

  • 4 kiwis

  • 1 inch of ginger

  • 1 cup of spinach

  • 1 cup of grapes

  • 1 cup of Greek yogurt (yogurt of your choice)

  • 1 banana

Method

  1. Chop up the banana and ginger and add to a blender

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth

  3. Carefully pour the smoothie mix into a posicle mold and put the posicles in the freezer over night

  4. The following day remove the popsicles from the mold and enjoy
